To stem the rising tide of suicide among our nation’s veterans and warriors, Patriot Outreach Programs, in conjunction with talented up and coming Veteran Country Music Artists with special guest from across the globe, are marching forward into the inaugural event PATRIOT OUTREACH WARRIOR JAM 2012 with Operation Outreach, and the Bands-Bibs & Ribs BBQ Cook Off! This innovative event will be held on August 25th from 2 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Crown Arena. This featured; all day events will deliver a variety of exciting entertainment along with vital resources and awareness to all Military, Veterans, Families and our community alike.    Funds raised from this event will go to support Patriot Outreach Programs and the Family Readiness Groups at four nearby bases; Camp Lejuene (Marines) Fort Bragg (Army) Seymour Johnson (Air Force) and Naval Station Norfolk (Navy). Donations will also be provided to our Reserve Units and National Guard Units located in North Carolina.Over 5,000 people are expected to be in attendance at this special event, which will also pay a special tribute to our Military, Veterans and their Families. Patriot Outreach will also focus on providing crucial awareness on the alarming crisis of Veteran and Military Suicides across the Nation. We will also center on the growing epidemic our Heroes are facing with Combat Stress and PTSD, which is the leading cause in all Military and Veterans suicide deaths.  With over 18 US Armed Forces Veterans taking their lives every single day, it is imperative to the Patriot Outreach Organization and Patriotic Supporters to stand up and support our Nations Heroes in this growing crisis. Though many of our Warriors attempt it, it is an uncompromising battle they cannot fight alone!  Patriot Outreach Programs has been and will continue to provide Free Confidential help to those in need with your patriotic support. According to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, most recent reports, more Service Men and Women fighting in the U.S. Armed Forces died from suicide than in Combat. Our Warriors are killing themselves faster than the enemy and now is your opportunity to help them conquer this battle within. Not all combat wounds are visible and one of the most fatal is unseen.
