Tuesday marks the 11th Annual Defense and Economic Trade Show at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
The defense trade show has over 500 attendees have signed up and is hosted by U.S. Senator Richard Burr, U.S. Senator Kay Hagan, Congressman Larry Kissell, FTCC and the NCMBC.
The state of North Carolina has the third largest military footprint in the country and ranks number 36 in the nation for defense contracting jobs in our state.
"This is about being sure the military has the resources and the tools they need to get the job done," said Hagan in a Patch interview last week. "It’s also about jobs, jobs, jobs in N.C. and I want to connect small business owners and individuals who need jobs with defense companies and have them locate those jobs in our great state. It’s a win-win for those companies, and for those people in N.C.".
Admission is free, but pre-registration online is required for entry.
