Fort Bragg General Officer Faces Multiple Charges for Sex Crimes
Brig. Gen. Jeffrey A. Sinclair charged under U.C.M.J.
The Army announced on Wednesday morning that Brig. Gen. Jeffrey A. Sinclair has been charged with forcible sodomy, multiple counts of adultery and having inappropriate relationships with female subordinates while serving in Afghanistan, and possessing pornography and alcohol during his deployment.
The Army launched a criminal investigation on Brig. Gen. Jeffrey A. Sinclair back in May, when he was reassigned from Afghanistan back to Fort Bragg.
Sinclair, who has been in the Army for 27 years, was serving his third deployment to Afghanistan. He had also served one tour in Iraq, as well as tours in the first Gulf war. Sinclair had been deputy commander since July 2010.
The charges are under the Uniform Code of Military Justices and the court proceedings will be open to the public according to Fort Bragg officials.

As the wife of a retired military (who served in Nam BTW) I am saddened by this sort of conduct by a military person--especially one that is high ranking. The army of today is so different today than it was when we were active. In that today's army puts forth a much higher image standard than it did back in the 70-80's. That didn't happen overnight. It took years of rebuilding our image as a whole. But it takes only one article/scandal such as this to tear us back down to the level of common trash. And Grandparents have no rights in this Country.....this again shows how sick people can be....even those you trust lives with !!!!! Just makes me sick. This man among many still have rights, just because they are soldiers. Cowards I say, praying on defenseless children.

Ive seen this man mistreat alot of familys within his brigade. And ppl were afraid to speak out. Well my heart goes out to his family. AND IF I COULD SAY ANYTHING TO HIS FACE IT WOULD SIMPLY BE. The hurt you caused me and my family is nowhere as embarrassing as WHAT THE SINCLAIRS ARE GOING THROUGH BUT AGAIN.... KARMA IS REAL....
