Thoughts and prayers to these families and peers left here without them. These great soldiers are already missed and will forever be remembered.

Spc. Jonathan Batista will be Honored and Remembered on Sunday, September 30, 2012, when our Team will be running one mile in his honor,
In an apolitical reflection of remembrance a team of active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine and Coast Guard runners will embark on a 172+ mile run to honor every New Jersey service member killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and New Dawn .
The 4th Annual NJ Run for the Fallen will start on Friday September 28, 2012, at Cape May Lighthouse and will finish on Sunday September 30, 2012, at The Vietnam Veterans' Memorial in Holmdel, NJ.
Each mile of the Run is dedicated to a NJ Hero and the Run Team will stop at every Hero Marker (every mile) and present an American Flag and a personal biographical card in honor of each fallen service member with the intent to create a 172+ mile long memorial trail through New Jersey. Each group of 3 runners carrying 3 flags will run legs of seven miles at a military pace of 8 minutes per mile.
