A number of new Senators and House Members were sworn in Thursday afternoon joining the Congress. The Senate will now have 20 women in the Senate, an all-time high.
"As a woman, it will be a welcome edition to have a few more women on board," said NC Sen. Kay Hagan in a media conference on Thursday morning.
A few weeks ago Diane Sawyer interviewed the ladies for a special that aired last night on the ABC network.
