Holiday cheer hard to find this year? All alone as Christmas is near? Here's a surefire way to cheer up the 'Merry' Mellow Mushroom way! Come out and support your community next Monday night.

Last week, Mellow Mushroom donated $500 from their Monday night sales to Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation- Friends of Cancer Center.

Mellow is grateful to Fayetteville for their support and this upcoming Monday, December 19, from 4 to 9 p.m., Mellow will donate 10% of their sales to fight hunger. They've helped our community out with donating 10% of their sales to the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundations Friends of the Cancer Center and have also been a collection point for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina.

Andrew Skinner, a government contractor temporarily in Fayetteville helped launch the store during its first 90 days. He's made many military friends and his home away from home has been Mellow Mushroom Pizza. They honored him Thursday evening with a surprise Hail & Farewell to wish him well. Skinner received a brass engraved nameplate for his very own bar stool along with some good fun and a warm  farewell from the entire staff and friends.
