Republican presidential candidate, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, is looking like the frontrunner for the GOP as he beat out Rick Santorum.
According to reports this week, the Republican National Committee announced it would start raising money jointly with the Romney campaign. A strong sign considering they typically stay out of the primary until an official candidate is announced.
Santorum was not even on the ballot in D.C., and after the poll numbers tonight, he is showing no intentions of pulling back yet.
A Washington Post report showed Santorum rating high in Wisconsin with the lower income population of voters. In Maryland he scored higher with voters under the age of 45, whereas Romney rated higher with voters over the age of 45.

This could be it. Would he choose Santorum as a running mate though?

Last election, it was such a big deal with some religious folk that Romney was a Mormon. Not such a big deal after having a closet Muslim at the helm.
