Raleigh's Dixie Gun and Knife Show continued on Sunday at the fairgrounds following an accidental discharge by a gun owner who was planning to sell it.
The owner, Gary Lynn Wilson, 36, of Wilmington was in possession of the 12-guage shotgun when it fired as he was removing it from the case.
According to the WRAL news report the two individuals wounded by the blast containing birdshot were Linwood Hester, 50, of Durham and Janet Hoover, 54, of Benson. The fire went through his hand and through the woman's hip, both were treated and released on Saturday.
The gun show officials are categorizing the incident as an accident.

Gun was dropped by "Safety checker". Probably not the best guy for the job. Gun shows without private weapons is like cheeseburger wothout the cheese. Yea it is still a burger but why bother. Long live the 2nd amendment and the castle doctorine.
