                Fort Bragg, NC – Wife to Fort Bragg Chaplain Mike Charles and former Army officer, Melody Charles, will sign copies of NOW YOU TELL ME!: 12 ARMY WIVES GIVE THE BEST ADVICE THEY NEVER GOT (Arundel Publishing, November 2012, $15.95). at the Post Exchange from 11-3 on December 8th.

 

Mrs. Charles is being featured in the new book as a former Army officer who is also married to an Army chaplain, who is now stationed at Fort Bragg with the XVIII Airborne Corps.

 

The book gives a rare and unprecedented look into the lives of Army wives – their experiences, stories and challenges – while offering advice, tips and insights helpful to other Army wives, their families  and those who support them.

           

The women in the book represent a remarkable group of women within the Army community that includes Beth Chiarelli, the wife of retired Four Star General Peter W. Chiarelli, formerly the 2nd highest ranking officer in the Army, as well as the wives of wounded warriors, widows, wives from dual-career families and blended families.

 

Some of topics covered include: when tragedy strikes; the post-deployment adjustment; single parenting and making smart choices; when a child deploys; being deployed together and Family Care Plans; Family Resource Groups just to name a few.
