Fort Bragg Commercial Truck Driver Course at Fairgrounds

Service members and their spouses returning from active duty will have a new road to take – as a qualified commercial truck driver - thanks to a federal grant administered by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles, which offers courses at reduced rates for prospective students.

The Fort Bragg Commercial Truck Driver Course is a series of six eight-week commercial truck driver training courses taught at Fort Bragg by faculty from the Johnston Community College Truck Driver Training Division at Fort Bragg.  A maximum of 16 returning soldiers and/or spouses will begin orientation and it will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the Fort Bragg Fairgrounds.

The Fort Bragg Commercial Truck Driver Course training will provide classroom instruction and hands-on driving experience to current service members and their spouses. Instructors from the NCTDT will provide enhanced training that will help ensure safe highway operations.
