Movie Night at the Beach

Smith Lake Recreation Area presents Tangled on July 16 at 8 p.m. for only $5 per car. While no outside drinks and food are permitted, concessions will be available. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and stake out your spot early. Gates open at 7 p.m. For questions contact MWR at 910-396-5979.

Roughin' It

Family overnight camp at Smith Lake from July 18-19 from noon to noon.

Meeting Point: Smith Lake Office for Check-In
Event Location: Smith Lake Campground
Registration Fee (does not include tent): $45 for family of four, each additional participant is $10.
Please contact Equipment Checkout Center @ (910) 396-7060 for tent rentals.

Registration is not complete until fee is paid in full. Registrants will be contacted by an Outdoor Recreation representative for payment via debit or credit card in the order the online registration is received.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations for full refund will be granted if requested in writing and received 14 calendar days prior to event date, otherwise registration fee will be forfeited.
 
Activities include: Haywagon ride, free entrance to the Smith Lake beach area, movie on the beach ("Yogi Bear"), dinner, breakfast and nature walk.

Overnight Kayak Trip at Raven Rock State Park

Sign up online for the July 16-17 trip from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Meeting Point: Mini Mall Parking Lot, off of Reilly Road 
Event Location: Raven Rock
Registration Fee: $50 per person or $90 per pair
