PHOTO: A Picture Perfect Rainbow Over Fort Bragg

Hurricane Irene moves along the Eastern Seaboard after battering Outer Banks on Saturday.

Somewhere over the rainbow, Hurricane Irene is bearing down on the Northeast states. But the skies have cleared in Fort Bragg, N.C., where a member of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, took this photo and posted it on the division's Facebook page.

The Lord is always so gracious and kind to us. In Genesis 9:11-17 God established a covenant between Him and every living creature upon the earth, and said the earth will never again be destroyed by water. He said he would set a bow in the cloud that would remind us that God remembers the covenant that he established between Him and every living creature upon the earth, and that the earth would never again be destroyed by water. Therefore,no matter how much rain we get, it will never be so much that it will destroy us. God is forever faithful and true to His word . For those of you that didn't know, whenever you see a bow or rainbow in the sky, remember, it's God saying to us I haven't forgotten our covenant. I get overjoyed whenever I see a bow because it lets me know that God Almighty is mindful of lil o me. Praise God! Kent Tucker
