August Events at The Crown

The Crown is hosting a variety of events during the month of August.

This weekend on Aug. 3-4  The Gun & Knife show offers a variety of vendors and the chance to do a little shopping for yourself or to find a gift for the enthusiast in your life. The hours are 9a.m. to 5p.m. on Saturday and 10a.m. to 5p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $9; children under 12 free with paying adult.

Paid admission on Saturday is good for free admission on Sunday. Tickets at the door.

Mid-month, parents all over the community will be lining up for the Hugs and Kisses Consignment Sale Aug. 14-16. Known as Fayetteville's premier children's consignment event, both sellers and buyers alike look forward to the annual event.

Fans of motorcycles and barbecue should head down to the Crown August 24 and 25 for the Bike and Ribs festival, featuring a live DJ and battle of the bands. They end the month with a Christian concert, Casting Crowns, on August 30.
