5 Injured in 3 Shootings Early Saturday Morning

Victims in three separate incidents have been identified as Joshua Chunn, Keondre Thomas, Kristen Wood, Antonias Milton and Sedale Council.

Fayetteville Police need the public's help to identify suspects in three shooting incidents in the early hours of Saturday.

On Saturday, July 20, 2013 around 3:22 am, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the parking lot of McDonald’s located at 5009 Santa Fe Drive in reference to a report of a person having been shot.

The investigation revealed that the victim and an acquaintance had been at a nightclub on the 6200 block of Yadkin Road and left after an altercation had taken place inside the business. Once the victim dropped his acquaintance off for the evening, he was driving back down Yadkin Road, when a vehicle pulled out of the parking lot of the nightclub and began following him. According to police reports, at some point the victim stopped his vehicle, was confronted by the suspects and was shot multiple times.

The victim was immediately transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and is listed in serious condition. The victim has been identified as Joshua Chunn, 35.

Also on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at approximately 4:30 am, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to 7606 Sable Drive in reference to a report that two individuals had been shot.

The investigation revealed that persons had been in attendance at a party and were beginning to leave from the listed residence. While one of the victims was attempting to get into a vehicle to leave the area, a white Dodge Charger pulled up and the occupants began yelling expletives at persons leaving the party. Friends and family members approached the suspect vehicle and attempted to persuade the suspects to leave the area. A passenger in the white Dodge Charger suddenly exited the vehicle and began firing a weapon towards persons at the party.

As a result of the gunfire, two victims were injured and were immediately transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where they are listed in stable condition.

The victims have been identified as Keondre Thomas,17, and Kristen Wood, 21.

Another incident on Saturday, July 20, 2013 around 5:50 am, detectives were at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center investigating the prior aggravated assaults, when they became aware that two victims had arrived to medical facility with gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed that the victims were a residence on the 400 block of Squirrel Street, when an unknown black male suddenly began shooting a firearm. As a result of the gunfire, the two victims were injured and immediately transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where they are listed in stable condition. The victims have been identified as Antonias Milton, 27 and Sedale Council, 23.

Detectives are actively investigating the shooting and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
