Kohl's Honors Fayetteville Youth for Community Service

Kohl's is recognizing local youth for their commitment to community service, and there are two local store winners from Fayetteville.

Both now receive a $50 gift card and a certificate from Kohl’s honoring their volunteerism. The youth now will vie for $1,000 regional scholarship awards from the Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program to be awarded in July.

From the regional winners, 10 national winners will be selected and each will receive a total of $10,000 in scholarships. Kohl’s will then donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner’s behalf.

The Fayetteville local store winners are

Darrell Collins, age 10, from Hope Mills

Ryan Will, age 16, from Fort Bragg
