Cumberland County Sheriff's detectives have confirmed they are investigating a double homicide on the 55 hundred block of Matt Hair Road.
The victims are identified as 57-year Yolanda Renee George and her son, 35-year old Jamal Skinner, both of 5508 Matt Hair Road, Fayetteville.
The bodies will be sent to the State Medical Examiner's office in Raleigh for autopsy.
