Man Dies Following Dispute in Fayetteville

H&H Customs was the scene of the crime early Friday afternoon.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives have confirmed that one man is dead and another has been detained following a shooting that happened inside a local body shop today.

Investigators say 38-year old Freddie Waymon Hudson of Hope Mills and 32-year old Glenn Gemale (pronounced Juh-mall) Artis of Fayetteville have been involved in an ongoing dispute according to the .

At around 11:50 a.m. on Friday, June 01, 2012 Artis came to H&H Customs at 4405 Cumberland Road and began arguing with Hudson who is the owner of the body shop.  Gunfire was exchange and Artis was struck.

Artis was transported via ambulance to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he later died.

Meanwhile, Hudson is being interviewed by detectives at this hour.  No further information is available.
