Cumberland County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are conducting a death investigation in the Parkton community this morning.
The body of a Native American female was discovered shortly before seven o’clock this morning inside a home on the 1000 block of Brisson Road.
A cause of death is not known at this time. The body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Raleigh for autopsy.
