Registered Sex Offender Arrested and Charged for Maintaining Facebook Page
The Fayetteville man was using his friend's website address, not his own while using accessing the social media site.
Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives have charged a registered sex offender with maintaining a social networking site.
Jose Carlo Paraiso, 29, of 3226 Shamrock Drive, Fayetteville was arrested at his home today, Friday, June 14, 2013 according to Public Information Officer, Debbie Tanna.
An investigation determined that Paraiso was in violation of his status as a registered sex offender in the state of North Carolina. Paraiso was allegedly maintaining a Facebook page while using a friend’s website address.

Paraiso is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $25,000. He will make a first court appearance on charges of Use of Commercial Social Networking Site by Sex Offender on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in the Detention Center courtroom.
