UPDATE: Tuesday's Homicide Victim Identified

The 36-year old male's identity was released on Wednesday.

Around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, two workers found a man's body in a field near Olive Glass & Marble. The roads and area were shut down while police investigated what they classified as a homicide.

On Wednesday, police identified the victim as Damon Terrell Bryant, 36. An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death, police said in a release.

According to a Fayetteville Observer report, the victim was found three miles from his neighborhood residence in the 200 block of Central Drive.
