Nicholas M. Holbert, was interviewed on Wednesday according to officials. He is a registered sex offender and has felony convictions from 2003 for indecent liberties with a child, age 5 when he was 16-years old, according to state Division of Adult Correction records.

Holbert is not considered a person of interest, and came forward on his own accord, according to Bergamine. Holbert had employment ties to Froggy Bottoms.

“Mr. Holbert is one of the last persons that had contact with Mrs. Bordeaux,” Bergamine said. “Anybody that last saw her on the early morning of Saturday is someone we want to talk to.”

According to an ABC exclusive report with Holbert, he said he gave the soldier a ride home from the bar, where he works, but denied having anything to do with her disappearance and said he dropped her off at the entrance of her neighborhood at her request.

"As soon as you drive into the entrance to Meadowbrook, she said stop right here," Holbert said in the ABC report. "So I stopped and she said, 'I'll walk home.' I said, 'Are you sure?' She said, 'Yeah.' I said I figured she didn't want me to know where she lived, or somebody was there and she didn't want to be seen together."

Bordeaux is 5'1", around 100 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink tank top with spaghetti straps and black shorts.

A Facebook page has been established for Bordeaux where comments for a show of support have been left.

Wednesday afternoon the Police Department announced it has set-up a hotline for people to call with information or tips about the case, 910- 433-1114.
