New $25,000 Reward for Information About Missing Fort Bragg Soldier

Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux disappeared nearly one year ago and officials are still searching for solid leads on the case.

Nearing the one year mark of Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux's disappearance, Fort Bragg and Fayetteville officials announced Friday that a $25,000 reward is being offered for information about a 23-year-old missing soldier.

Any person with information regarding this incident should contact Special Agent Martin Smith at 910-396-8777 or the Military Police desk at 910-396-0392.

The payout of cash rewards to civilians, military and federal employees for information leading to a conviction is contingent upon their exceptional actions regarding the information provided, according to Ben Abel in a media release from Fort Bragg on Friday.

The soldier was last seen wearing black shorts and pink top, on Friday, April 13, before going to Froggy Bottoms. She is 5’1”, 105 pounds, blonde hair, and brown eyes, with a small build.

Last year the police interviewed a person of interest, Nicholas Holbert. He was scrutinized by the public for his criminal past, charges dating back from age 16 for indecent liberties with a minor and an aggravated sex offender status.

Here's what he told an ABC news reporter last year:

“As soon as you drive into the entrance to Meadowbrook, she said stop right here,” Holbert said. “So I stopped and she said, ‘I’ll walk home.’ I said, ‘Are you sure?’ She said, ‘Yeah.’ I said I figured she didn’t want me to know where she lived, or somebody was there and she didn’t want to be seen together.”

Over the past year, massive group search parties were coordinated but no solid leads turned up.

Bordeaux was assigned to the 44th Medical Command at Fort Bragg. View the timeline of related articles here.
