Remembrance Ceremony to Honor Soldier Missing Over One Year

Friends and family will gather on Friday to honor 23-year old soldier Kelli Bordeaux.

In a mystery that has perplexed the Fort Bragg and Fayetteville community alike, one of their soldiers has been missing for over one year.

As a show of solidarity for Spc. Kelli Bordeaux, Fort Bragg's 601st Area Support Medical Company will hold a remembrance ceremony on Friday, April 19 for her.

The event will take place at 10 a.m., Hanger 4 at Pope Field, and
is for unit personnel and family members only.

"Our key message in hosting this event is one of hope," said Maj.
Dan Reynolds, executive officer, 261st Multifunctional Medical Battalion.

"We're doing this for members of the battalion to bring hope to the Soldiers and to make it known that Spec. Kelli Marie Bordeaux lives in our hearts," said event coordinator, 1st Lt. Annie Davis from the 261st Multifunctional Medical Battalion. "I am Bordeaux's platoon leader, so it's important that we take time to remember her."
