Volunteers Still Conducting Search Parties for Missing Fort Bragg Soldier

Supporters of Kelli Bordeaux are not giving up hope as they continue to search the area.

A team of volunteers searched again on Saturday, June 8, for the missing Fort Bragg soldier, Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux.

Volunteers met at the Food Lion on Andrews Road to comb through the thick brush near the area where Bordeaux was last seen on April 14.

Bordeaux, 23, was last seen at Froggy Bottoms bar, located at 6326 Ramsey Street, before reportedly getting a ride back to her apartment complex, .

Police believe Bordeaux left the bar with a man identified as a registered sex offender and whom she met there the week before.

The Froggy Bottoms Facebook page is no longer up and the bar has been closed since the owner, Steven Cantrell, 49, of the 300 block of Lynn Avenue, was arrested on outstanding warrants.

No other clues have been uncovered or reported by Fayetteville detectives and police.
