Threat of Violence Directed at Local High School

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office has received email transcripts which indicate a threat of violence at Pine Forest High School.

Investigators were made aware of the threat on Saturday, October 5, 2013 via citizens complaints after seeing the messages on Facebook and Twitter this morning.

Detectives are investigating the threat and will keep the public informed and will be on the school campus next week to ensure student safety.
