Police say soldiers are connected to a Spring Lake teenager found dead on Thursday
Two Fort Bragg soldiers are accused of killing an Overhills High School student whose body was found Thursday in a wooded area of N.C. 210 in Harnett County. Two service members from the same company in of the 82nd Brigade Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division are accused of killing their 17-year old Spring Lake neighbor, Vincent Edwin Carlisle Jr. Spc. Christopher Roger Blackett, 20, and Pvt. Sebastian Gamez , 20, were charged Thursday with night with first-degree murder and disposing of a corpse, according to the Harnett County Sheriff's Office. According to a Fayetteville Observer report, Carlisle's family reported him missing Sunday, authorities said. It was about 2:10 p.m. Thursday when Carlisle's body was found in a wooded area …
