Effects and damage were minimal in our area this morning
Fayetteville and Fort Bragg residents prepared for the worst and were pleasantly surprised this morning that Hurricane Irene bypassed the immediate region. About 2,000 residents reported power outages from last night's storm, but thankfully the city sustained no real damage.
