A Fort Bragg Soldier died in an off post incident Sunday, March 18. Sergeant Kevin Dewayne Moseby, 28, of the 29th Support Company, Special Troops Battalion, 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, was shot and killed at an off post residence. Duane Brown Jr., 30, of Sanford, also a soldier from Fort Bragg, is being charged with first-degree murder in the shooting. Moseby's ex-wife, Dorothy Moseby, told police Brown was angry because she ended her relationship with him to try to rekindle her marriage with Moseby, according to court records according to a Fayetteville Observer report.
