Should Celebrities Be Allowed to Jump to the Front of the Line at Polls?

Usher was reportedly allowed to jump to the front of the line and then take photos of himself while voting. Is this fair?

Fulton County says superstar Usher was a model citizen when he voted in Roswell on Tuesday. Wouldn't we all be if we were afforded the same privileges? A local resident in Roswell told Roswell Patch the international celebrity was able to skip past long lines of waiting voters with his own photographers in tow, despite posted signs that prohibited pictures and videos to be taken in the polling area. Bob Giordano, a spokesperson with the Fulton County Office of Communications, confirmed Usher Raymond voted in Roswell. He said Usher did take photos, but not of the voting machines, only of people who wanted to pose with him. People who waited in long lines for their turns at the voting machine and honored the rule not to take photos were not …

I am a soon to be "Georgian". I reside in Virginia currently. With that aside, I have started reading the "Patch" to acquaint myself with the area. UGH - first thing I see is the eogtistical Usher showing all his insecurities by drawing attention to himself and the cowardice of those in charge to disallow this event.
