Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for a suspect who broke in to more than a dozen vehicles in communities along Chickenfoot Road.
Investigators say the bandit made away with numerous items, including a gift card that was stolen from a vehicle parked along Kalmia Lane.
The suspect’s spending spree was traced to Murphy USA, North Main Street in Hope Mills. He was seen on surveillance video purchasing gasoline with the gift card.
The suspect is described white male of average height, medium build with dark hair. His haircut is shaved on the bottom portion of his head and the top section is long and pulled back into a pony tail.
