Fayetteville Man Charged With Sex Crimes Against 13-Year-Old Boy
Charges are for accusations of statutory sex with a minor and crimes against nature .
Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives have charged a Fayetteville man with forcing a 13-year-old boy to engage in sexual activities.
Carlos Lavern Brady, 42, of 3001 Midland Court is being held in the Detention Center under a $300,000 bond.
An investigation determined that Brady began the abuse in March of 2011 through May, 2011. The child says he was visiting Brady’s home where the incidents occurred.
Brady is charged with statutory sex with a minor and crimes against nature. A first court appearance is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in the Detention Center Courtroom.
