Identity Released of Two Bragg Soldiers Killed in Yadkin Road Crash

Two are dead and two injured after Thursday night's automobile collision near Fort Bragg.

Two Fort Bragg soldiers killed in a two-car collision Thursday night were have been identified as Michael Hickey, 25, and Amber Bostian, 26.

The accident occurred about 9:30 p.m. at Yadkin Road at Cimarron Drive, near the Yadkin Road entrance to Fort Bragg; the soliders were reported dead at the scene.

According to police reports, the driver lost control of a 2004 Pontiac GTO and veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta head-on, injuring its two passengers.

The condition of the two passengers is unknown. They were identified as Markita Parks, 26, and Rashaad Mitchell, 24.

Authorities believe there might have been a third car involved that the GTO was racing; an investigation is underway.
