Three Home Invasion Suspects in Custody

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives have three men in custody in connection with a home invasion that happened early this morning.

Deputies responded to a 911 call for help along the 5600 block of Dudley Road, Fayetteville at around 7:33 a.m.  The caller reported the suspects forced their way into his home and brandished a weapon.

The suspects fled the scene and became involved in a car chase with Sheriff’s Deputies and State Highway Patrol Troopers.  The chase ended on the east side of Cumberland County, as the suspects began bailing from their getaway vehicle at various locations.

In custody at this hour are 31-year old Demario Teraze Johnson of 1309 Deep Creek Road, Fayetteville, 22-year old Geno Deon Barnett of 3321 Antler Drive, Spring Lake and registered sex offender 34-year old Hakeem Anthony Middleton of 5002 Fieldcrest Drive.

All three suspects are being processed in to the Cumberland County Detention Center.  Charges and bond have not been released at this time as the investigation is still in progress.
