School House Rock, get down for a good cause

CCEF is a community based advocate for public education in Cumberland County.

The annual School House Rock event benefits the Cumberland County Education Foundation (CCEF).

The event will be held at the on Saturday, March 3, at 8p.m. This year's theme is the 80's, so break out your parachute pants and neon clothing, and ladies- make that hair big.

Leslie Saenz, military spouse and owner of So Chic Bebe is on the Board for CCEF and will be helping to decorate for Saturday night's event along with Jenny Beaver's 'Just Jenny Designs & Events.

"It's a fun event," said Saenz. "Ultimately you get to give back - all proceeds go back to CCEF".

Tickets are $75 and includes cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres, great music and dancing as well as a tax deductible donation to support public education in our community. They can be purchased at www.ccedfoundation.org or send checks to CCEF, PO Box 2882, Fayetteville, NC 28302
