Though nothing was confirmed by teachers or a police report, students had heard that the officials were looking for a gun in a student's locker, but nothing was found.
The law enforcement entities were doing training nearby and were able to show up with the canine units quickly on the scene and fortunately it turned out to be an uneventful day.
