1. Feds Feeds Famlies Food Donation Drive
Last drop off date at Fort Bragg MWR is August 22, 2012.

All donations will be given to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeastern NC. The SHFB tries to ensure that the vast majority of food distributed is of nutritional value. Please help by making healthy choices for your donation.

2. It's Electrifying exhibit at the Museum of the Cape Fear

3. 4th Friday

If you haven't checked out the Arts Council's 4th Friday events, you have not truly experienced Fayetteville. Browse the shops, see street entertainers and artists and enjoy the family-friendly venue. It kicks off around 6 p.m.

4. Fayetteville Celebrity Idol

At the Marquis Market in downtown Fayetteville, 7p.m. benefits Fayetteville Urban Ministry, $30, All White Affair. Tickets can be purchased online.

5. Lake Rim Park Scavenger Hunt

Pick up a self-guided scavenger hunt worksheet to search the park for treasure. Wednesday, Aug. 22 8a.m. to 5p.m.
